This wine has a rich garnet colour that leads the way to deep blackberry essence, plum conserve, dark chocolate and tobacco leaf on the nose. The palate is sweet and silky and the finish is full of warmth and long lasting. This wine has been bottled unfiltered to obtain maximum flavours and to assist aging, so light natural sediment can be expected.
This wine, created from Zinfandel grapes, was left on the vines for an extended period of time. This process not only creates a wine that has great flavor, but also leaves some natural residual sweetness. Zinfandel compliments strong beef dishes and winter stews. It can also be served chilled or with a few ices.
